I'm giving a shout out here to say I'm okay! I was, very fortunately, not on the Red line when the fatal crash happen (I was still at work). Yes, I do take the Red Line but on the opposite end (thank goodness). For over a week now, I've been going to the nurse's office at work.. and it's rather official.. ..I suffer from hypertension. ... ... ..and it's dangerously high. So I'm looking for a free-clinic in my area to seek out a doctor and see what I can do to manage it more...aside from being more active and eating better. ..oh lucky me.. =/ ... ... ... now back to NekoCon stuff.

..I'm going into the second day of training for my new job.
It's extremely boring.. really.. Anyone with half a brain and COMMON sense could figure this out but.. whatev. Here's where over 5 years of retail hell experience actually is a plus in my favor...wow... never thought I would ever admit that. XD Other than that.. things are... going. I'm the first nonarmed guard going thru this particular system .. and it has soo many flaws, it's not funny...Hence.. the boredom.. mainly as A) I already knew this stuff and.. b) this doesn't pertain to me much as I'm under glass and don't get toys (guns) to play with... I'll suffer thru it......and draw.
this hours suck tho: 7pm-3/4am..... *thuds*
other than work.. life.......... life is... just there, i guess.. there are some pressing issues I should attend to but I'm lacking time right now while in training mode for roughly two weeks. ...I'll just keep it to myself til then if ever.... v.v;;;;;;;

oooohh GAWD it HURTS! 2 nights ago I fell in e-mart on a unmarked wet floor.. I am just now feeling the effects. My knees are doing well.. but my shoulders and base of my neck... UGHHHHH!!! I can't move my upper torso without an incredible amount of stabbing PAIINNN!!!!!... ;o;

so, AWA went well as far as no stress.. relaxing atmosphere ..great friends.. But I came home not well off money wise. I'm not sure what I should do about this. Rent is in a week and I only have $200 of the $660 needed to not get evicted. UGH! WTH... I still have 2-3 commissions that need to be finished before I can open that option up again.. So that leaves either begging for assistance and/or... FurBID...... ugh, I'm doomed .....ain't I? Maybe I can sell some of my sketchbooks and older art pieces... i survived... but doing 1 panel and 3 workshops..was just too much really. =/ Overall stressful, lack of sleep, but a joy to see familiar faces again... ..and now, it's over. ~~~ PROS: I was interviewed by FUNimation about ABJD. Too bad I interview poorly. CONS: not nearly enough time to see everyone. streessssss..... MEMORABLE MOMENT: FINALLY got to nail a Dealer for selling a piece of my artwork...and PROVED it was mine by showing the original to the dealer and the DR Director. (incidentally, this is the same dealer who sold it last year as well but I didn't hear about it until after the convention was over.. =__=) Funny enough the dealer says she bought the "rights" to make the image into a vinyl decal from an artist... in Oklahoma. ...interesting... She then claims that I am the 6th person to claim said piece as their own.. but thankfully (I suppose?) the only one who could PROVE it. She seemed grateful for finding the original artist, apologized profusely and cut up the last bits of decals she had left. She says she will erase the image from her inventory but ..honestly what guarantees this? I'll have to take it at face value... She wanted to buy the original from me... hell no.. it's over 10 years old and something that popular, I would rather keep in my collection. But it's over and done with. period.. ..*sighs* now back to figuring out WTH is going on with the supposed job I have in D.C. =/

I can say that I had been sick for 5 weeks straight. now, I was feeling fine and all for the past 2 weeks, really feeling healthy and not hacking my lungs out and shit. But I'm back from AMA this past weekend..and you can guess it....I am SICK yet AGAIN! Got the con plague.... GAWD DAMNIT ALL!!!! cut me some damn slack, life! shit..

I'm back from Acen. It was a well needed 'vacation'..even with the rough first day. XD But now I -MUST- finish things, seeing as AMA is in 2 weeks. X___x
I'm wide awake. Sick since Monday. Cannot breath. Sinuses are completely blocked. Blowing does NOTHING. seriously-nothing. I ache. my lungs hurt from coughing. Keep waking up/falling asleep at/around 2am...and waking up at 5-6am...cause.. I can't breath. this week SUCKS! D= Don't expect anything out of me world, you ain't getting it...
